Launch of Cross Border Campaign for Family Planning & HIV Screening
PPAG together with other implementing partners in Ghana and Togo have launched the Cross border Campaign ̈for Family Planning and HIV Screening in Lome, Togo and Aflao, Ghana.
The campaign calls for improve efforts to increase the uptake of modern family planning methods, to FP is the right of every woman of reproductive age, and prevents unintended pregnancies, unsafe abortion, maternal and neonatal mortality and ensured better quality life.
To achieve the demographic dividend, Ghana must double its effort at investing in the SRHR of women and young people to ensure a healthy population.
IPPF’s Member Association in Ghana (PPAG) and Togo (ATBEF) attended the launch and are currently implementing aspects of the West Africa Health Organisation (WAHO) project which is being implemented in six (6) West African countries and funded by the German Government.
