PPAG ELECTS NEW PRESIDENT
Mrs Wilhelmina Sakle Aklaku joined PPAG in 1990 as a volunteer of the Tamale branch simply because she loves being with people and helping out in the best way she can. She also joined because she is a firm believer in the mission and vision of the Association.
She was elected as the Tamale branch treasurer, later she became the chairperson and with trust in her leadership skills, she was also elected as the Northern Zonal Chairperson. She has been with Council as a member for12 years and counting. Having gone through the grill all these years together with her passion for volunteerism and love for young people as she has and still continue to support the Youth Action Movement of Ghana in her own way and coupled with her ability to lead in a visionary manner; at the 52nd Annual General Meeting of PPAG she was elected as the President.
She is the Managing Director of Picorna Hotel in Tamale. She is married to Dr Isaiah Kudjo Aklaku, also CEO of New Life Clinic and diagnosis centre also in Tamale.
She looks forward to working with all the volunteers and staff of the Association as well as the various partners.
