[what I like most about/ have benefitted most from being a PPAG Volunteer]
Gideon believes PPAG is one great institution that provides opportunity for the young to learn not only SRHR issues but also the rudiments of life and leadership from older volunteers without the fear of discrimination.
He has learnt a lot in terms of programme and project management and has sharpened his knowledge, skills and talents in leadership; heightening my passion for knowledge and skills transfer. The thought of helping another as a volunteer is more than self-fulfilling. He has had opportunities of working with some other organizations through his association with PPAG.
[Other interests, including family life]
His interest in youth development, SRHR and research has seen him presenting several posters and papers in international conferences. He has a couple of academic publications to his credit and his main research areas are innovations and technology management, developmental finance and economics and leadership.
His passion for holistic youth development has seen him playing crucial roles in Ghana Youth for Christ (YFC) and currently the Executive Chairperson of the Youth Education and Transformation Network for Africa (YETNA), a Christian youth leadership organization. He loves movies, theatre arts and enjoys playing football with his Honourables Football club.
